Why Is Everyone Talking About

Shouler Pain Expert Greg Welch?

For over 20 years, I’ve helped Pinecrest residents overcome shoulder pain at Progressive Therapy Center. As an educator at Florida International and Kaiser University, I stay at the forefront of research while training future health professionals. My coaching background at Columbus High instilled discipline and resilience, which now shape my therapy approach. Outside the clinic, I’m committed to mentoring through St. Louis Church’s men’s ministry.

Heart of Pinecrest for 20+ Years

As the leading shoulder pain expert in Pinecrest, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of people recover from shoulder injuries. Progressive Therapy Center has been at the heart of this work for over 20 years, building a reputation for providing high-quality, personalized care. We’ve treated everyone from athletes to retirees, always with the goal of helping them regain full function and live pain-free, fulfilling lives.

Educator at Florida International University and Kaiser University

In addition to running Progressive Therapy Center, I have a strong academic and professional background that allows me to stay at the forefront of shoulder pain research. I’m an instructor at both Florida International University and Kaiser University, where I teach classes on joint mobilization. These courses focus on techniques aimed at increasing shoulder movement and alleviating pain. My research and real-world experience in joint health has given me a deep understanding of the complexities of shoulder pain, enabling me to develop methods that go beyond traditional approaches. Teaching at these universities also allows me to pass on valuable knowledge to the next generation of health professionals, ensuring that the methods I use are shared with others in the field.

Community Involvement

Community engagement has always been an important part of my life. I’m proud to be actively involved in St. Louis Church, where I contribute to the men’s ministry. For many years, I’ve helped support and guide others in our local community, working to improve their lives both physically and spiritually. My work with the men’s ministry has given me the opportunity to mentor, offer advice, and provide a source of support to those who need it most. Being involved in my community keeps me grounded and connected to the people I serve, and it reinforces my commitment to helping others live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Coaching Background

My passion for helping others stretches beyond physical therapy and into the sports world. I was a teacher and coach at Columbus High School, where I led the water polo and soccer teams. Coaching was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, as it allowed me to inspire young athletes to achieve their potential, both in sport and in life. Over the years, I’ve seen countless students grow not only as athletes but also as individuals. The skills and discipline I taught in the pool and on the field translate into the work I do now in physical therapy – helping people build strength, confidence, and resilience, no matter what challenges they face.
